Where we came from
Friends Church was the first Protestant church in Citrus Heights. We have connected people to Christ, served families, helped start new churches and sent missionaries all over the world since our founding over 100 years ago. We may not be the largest church in the area, but we seek to make a large impact in our community and world.
We are part of Friends Church Southwest (FSW) which is a network of churches filled with people who believe that we are better together than we are by ourselves. Our vision statement is: Fueling a Spirit-led movement where Jesus changes people who change the world!
Where we're headed
At Friends, we help people to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover their Purpose, and Make a Difference. As a church our vision is to be Life Changing, Community Impacting, and God Glorifying that results in more and better disciples who change the world.
We do this through our Sunday Worship Gatherings, our Life Groups, our Discipleship pathway & Training, our ministries and our outreach to our communities and our world.
